In 2011, RedGate Farm of Blackstone, started selling to Ellwood Thompsons, and we also shared lots of our yummy veggies with friends and family. There were many hours spent out on the farm feeling rich in spirit and body as we hauled in what that lovely dark earth helped us grow. Now, we are moving into offering our bounty to you!
Purchasing a CSA package from RedGate, allows you the chance to receive a weekly subscription of lovingly natural grown vegetables and soft fruit. And to support a bourgeoning new farm dedicated to healthy, delicious, safe, and nutrient-rich food for you and your family. Usually 20 weeks starting around June 1,thru around mid October. Some of the things you can expect to find in your weekly share include (according to season) collards, kale, cabbage, mustard greens, beets, spinach, carrots, turnips, radish, leeks, broccoli, tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, okra, eggplant, onions, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, summer and winter squash, beans, and more.
